Bioregions grant for forest bioeconomy solutions

If you have developed forest bioeconomy solutions, apply to the Bioregions Open Innovation Challenge 2022. There are 3 categories:

  • Carbon Farming & Climate-Smart Forestry
  • Forest Monitoring, Early Warning and Response
  • Unleash the potential of Non-Wood Forest Products

Winners will receive a €7000 grant to pitch and showcase their solutions at relevant events, the opportunity to deploy and test their solution  in a variety of European regions, find partners and clients, gain recognition, and more.

Bioregions is a network of European regions that have taken the lead in making transformative changes towards a circular, forest-based bioeconomy. More information.

Bioregions Open innovation Challenges provide a framework to identify and support the development and scaling-up of innovative solutions (technologies, business ideas, etc.) to pressing challenges in forests management and the forest bioeconomy. Its final objective is to facilitate sustainable transitions in European regions putting into value the full range of ecosystem services provided by forests.
