AgriJovem 2023: applications open now!
Applications are now open for the AgriJovem initiative. This opportunity is designed for higher education students in Portugal who are passionate about making a significant impact on agricultural activities at both national and European levels.

The Representation of the European Commission in Portugal, with the collaboration of the General Directorate of Agriculture and Rural Development (DGADR) - National Network and the support of the Instituto Superior de Agronomia, organises an initiative tailored for young students who aspire to pursue a professional career in the agricultural sector in Portugal.
The Representation of the European Commission invites a group of 40 higher education students from Portugal to engage in thoughtful discussions about various European policies that directly impact agricultural activities on both national and European levels.
Through a well-curated programme of interactive conversations and practical sessions, the initiative aims to bring together key stakeholders from national and European agricultural policy, academia, farmers, and young farmers embarking on their own agricultural journeys. By facilitating the sharing of experiences, participants will have the opportunity to enrich their academic and professional paths, fostering a deeper understanding and awareness of the sector's challenges and opportunities.
