The Lithuanian CAP Network is part of the Managing Authority and active across the CAP Strategic Plan (CSP) interventions, including supporting the agri-food sector and LAGs.

Objectives

  • Increase the participation of all interested entities in the preparation and implementation of the Strategic Plan;
  • Help in implementing the Strategic Plan and move to a performance-based Strategic Plan implementation model;
  • Contribute to the improvement of the quality of the implementation of the Strategic Plan;
  • Contribute to informing the public and potential beneficiaries about the CAP and funding opportunities;
  • Promote innovation in the fields of agriculture and rural development and support peer-to-peer learning and the involvement of all stakeholders in the process of knowledge exchange and knowledge accumulation and their interactions;
  • Contribute to monitoring and evaluation capacities and activities;
  • Contribute to the dissemination of the results of the implementation of the Strategic Plan;
  • Contribute to the more active promotion of cooperation initiatives between interested parties and ensure the organisation of cooperation in the Network.

Membership

Who can join?

Public legal entities that operate in the field of agriculture, forestry, rural development, food industry, environmental protection and/or are related to the implementation of the Strategic Plan, as well as the promotion of equal opportunities for women and men and non-discrimination, and representatives of civil society.

How to get involved?

Submit the signed application to become a member of the Lithuanian CAP Network and additional documents (if needed) to the secretariat, which evaluates the information provided in the application and makes a decision on the eligibility of an applicant to become a member of the Lithuanian CAP Network.

Regional representation

Membership of the Lithuanian CAP Network is open to all the organisations (public legal entities) operating throughout the country.

Governance

The Lithuanian CAP Network is part of the Managing Authority and the structure of it consists of the Network Members, Network Secretariat and Network Advisory Board.
