Draft Agenda

Morning session (09:00-11:30)
Plenary session topics will include: the state of play of scientific recommendations on result-based funding models; insights into the future of public funding of environmental goods; and knowledge gathered from ongoing examples of implementing result-based schemes. Our aim is to invite experts from the Commission, Member States, and research institutes to give presentations on these topics and to attend the afternoon workshop. We are expecting 100+ national participants from the administration, advisory services, research institutes, farmers etc.

Lunch

Afternoon session (12:15-13:45)
Workshop on result-based agri-environmental payment schemes: sharing experiences on different approaches to design result-based schemes and finding solutions to tackle barriers of implementation. The workshop is targeted at different organizations, including those working with new funding models in agriculture. Organisers have sent targeted invitations to experts on this topic, but the workshop is open to interested delegations from the member states as well.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the Ministry of the Environment, and the Rural Network Support Unit of Finland are collaboratively organizing an event on result-based funding models in agriculture. We would appreciate it if participants could register for the event by 01 November 2024.
