The CAP 2023-2027 follows a performance and results-based approach built around ten objectives, which frame the EU countries’ CAP Strategic Plans. These combine targeted interventions addressing specific needs and delivering on EU-level objectives.

Hungarian Network
The Hungarian CAP Network aims to involve farmers, public administration, advisors, research and innovation experts in the implementation of the Hungarian CAP Strategic Plan. Its primary role is to inform both the general public and potential beneficiaries about the CAP’s objectives, as well as the interventions and funding regulations related to agriculture, forestry, food production and rural development.
To facilitate this work, the network operates dedicated support units focused on key horizontal priorities of the Strategic Plan: rural and regional development, innovation and digitalisation, and green structures. These support units function under the coordination of the Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture.
Zagreb hosted the sixth Good Practice Workshop which provided an insightful platform for learning more about the evaluation of CAP Strategic Plans interventions to support young and new farmers.
Hungarian LAGs cover 100% of the country's rural areas, and implementation of the LEADER programme started in 2023, resulting in 105 LAG Local Development Strategies being approved and launched.
