On this page you can find information about support for farmers and rural stakeholders under the CAP in Greece.

Support for farmers and rural stakeholders under the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) in Greece is managed in the 2023-2027 period nationally through their CAP Strategic Plan (CSP), funded under the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF) and national contributions.

The CAP 2023-2027 follows a performance and results-based approach built around ten objectives, which frame the EU countries’ CAP Strategic Plans. These combine targeted interventions addressing specific needs and delivering on EU-level objectives.

CSP Documents

The full CSP for Greece can be found on the Greek Ministry of Rural Development and Food website.

A short summary of the key points of the Greek CSP is available on the CAP at a glance section of the European Commission website.

More information on the CAP is available in the CAP Overview section of the EU CAP Network website.

Greek Network

The Greek CAP Network is an evolution of the National Rural Network that was launched during the 2007-2013 programming period and is still operating with the support of the Managing Authority and external consultants.

The members of the Network will be able to exchange opinions and ideas on ongoing issues and needs that will arise during the course of implementation of the CAP Strategic Plan (CSP). This will be accomplished through participation in events, Thematic Working Groups (TWGs), experiential workshops, work meetings and other types of collaboration.
