Samen werken aan de nutriëntenkringloop Kromme Rijnstreek
Objectives
● Regional nutrient flows work to everyone's advantage: all participants benefit from cooperation. This can be due to manure placement, but also improved soil quality, such as organic matter build-up, improved soil life, and the like.
● To gain insight into what is necessary for a well-functioning cooperation? (Social cultural conditions for the collaboration are also inventoried and analyzed.)
● The necessary 'hardware' is mapped, such as which machines are needed for application?
Objectives
● Regionale nutriëntenstromen werken in ieders voordeel: alle deelnemers hebben voordeel bij samenwerking. Dat kan zijn door mestplaatsing, maar ook verbeterde bodemkwaliteit, zoals organische stof opbouw, verbeterd bodemleven, e.d.
● Inzicht krijgen in wat nodig is voor een goed functionerende samenwerking? (Ook sociaal culturele voorwaarden voor de samenwerking worden hierbij geïnventariseerd en geanalyseerd.)
● De benodigde ‘hardware’ wordt in kaart gebracht zoals welke machines zijn nodig zijn voor toepassing?
Activities
● The regional nutrient surplus also used within the region to replace artificial fertilizer and improve the soil. In the first instance, the nutrient requirements of fruit growers are met by making use of those surpluses with (dairy) cattle farmers.
● Later this will be extended to a regional, digital and closed nutrient market place that links the needs of growers and livestock farmers in the area. Other nutrient suppliers can join, such as drinking water companies, water boards and municipalities (eg residual material WWTP, compost, verge cuttings).
Activities
● Het regionaal voorkomend nutriëntenoverschot ook binnen de regio gebruikt om kunstmest te vervangen en de bodem te verbeteren. In eerste instantie wordt in de nutriëntenbehoefte van fruittelers voorzien door gebruik te maken van die overschotten bij (melk)veehouders.
● Later wordt dit uitgebreid naar een regionale, digitale en besloten nutriëntenmarktplaats die de behoefte van telers en veehouders in het gebied met elkaar koppelt. Andere nutriëntenleveranciers kunnen zich daarbij aansluiten, zoals drinkwaterbedrijven, waterschappen en gemeenten (bv. restmateriaal RWZI, compost, bermmaaisel).
