Objectives
The purpose is to minimize damage caused by game on crops, especially from wild boars. We are working with developing a cost-effective concept for fencing against wild boars, which eventually could be used against other game as well. The goal is to develop a new pole for electric fences, develop equipment for putting up poles and fence by machine as well as efficiently handle cutting around fences.

Syftet är att minimera viltskadorna i växtodling, framför allt från vildsvin. Vi arbetar med att ta fram ett kostnadseffektivt koncept för stängsling mot vildsvin, som på sikt även kan användas mot annat vilt. Målet är att utveckla en ny stolpe för elstängsel, utveckla utrustning för att maskinellt sätta upp stolpar och stängsel samt effektivt sköta klippning kring stängsel.

The project also includes several communication activities, work towards protection of intellectual property rights, preparations for entering the market and a socio-economic study.

Projektet omfattar även flera kommunikationsinsatser, arbete med skydd av immateriella rättigheter, förberedelser för insteget på marknaden och en samhällsekonomisk studie.
