Objectives

The main objective of this project is to obtain electrical energy and heat in a sustainable and highly efficient way, while revaluing organic waste typically present in the sector, reducing the carbon footprint and mitigating the effects of climate change thanks to to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

Activities

Set-up of a biogas production system for the generation of renewable energy from agri-food waste (onion peelings and bagasse). The generated biogas will be fed to a high-temperature device of Advanced Combustion Cells obtained thanks to the use of Powder Injection Molding as advanced ceramic processing technology. The scope of this project is to obtain electricity and heat in a sustainable and highly efficient way, while revaluing organic waste, reducing the carbon footprint and mitigating the effects of climate change thanks to the reduction of gas emissions. greenhouse effect.

Puesta a punto de un sistema de producción de biogás para la generación de energía renovable a partir de residuos agroalimentarios. El biogás generado será alimentado a dispositivos tubulares de alta temperatura de Pilas de Combustible Avanzado (PCA) obtenidos gracias al empleo del Moldeo por Inyección de Polvos (PIM) como tecnología de procesado avanzado de cerámicas. De esta manera, se pretende obtener energía eléctrica y calor de manera sostenible y altamente eficiente, al mismo tiempo que se revalorizan los residuos orgánicos típicamente presentes en el sector, se reduce la huella de carbono y se mitigan los efectos del cambio climático gracias a la reducción de emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero.
