Objectives
The general objective of the project is to apply technology and digitalization for better territorial planning at the hydrological basin scale, which is a profitable decision factor in hydrological, ecological, social, economic and adaptation to climate change terms, when design and execute forest hydrological restoration measures at the exploitation scale.

El objetivo general del proyecto es aplicar la tecnología y la digitalización para una mejor planificación territorial a escala de cuenca hidrológica, que sea un factor de decisión rentable en términos hidrológicos, ecológicos, sociales, económicos y de adaptación al cambio climático, a la hora de diseñar y ejecutar medidas de restauración hidrológico forestal a escala de explotación.
Activities
The project proposes the management of forests and their capacity as providers of ecosystem services that contribute to improving the capacity to adapt to climate change and, in certain cases, the potential for mitigating its effects. To this end, two technological systems developed by the companies of the operating group and the University of Extremadura will be applied, the Gescuencas system, which has already obtained the Seal of Excellence for innovation from the European Commission, for managing natural resources on a scale. of hydrological basins, and the Evarhis System, a methodology that facilitates decision-making regarding forest hydrological risk management in the territory

El proyecto plantea un manejo de los bosques y su capacidad como proveedores de servicios ecosistémicos que contribuyan a mejorar la capacidad de adaptación al cambio climático y, en determinados casos, el potencial de mitigación de sus efectos. Para ello, se aplicarán dos sistemas tecnológicos desarrollados por las empresas del grupo operativo y la Universidad de Extremadura, el sistema Gescuencas, que ya ha obtenido el Sello de Excelencia a la innovación por parte de la Comisión Europea, de gestión de recursos naturales a escala de cuencas hidrológicas, y el Sistema Evarhis, una metodología que facilita la toma de decisiones en materia de gestión de riesgos hidrológico forestales en el territorio
