Objectives
To increase the competitiveness of the Andalusian organic agri-food sector through the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs), which will optimise work, favour decision-making with regard to the efficient use of water and improve biodiversity on farms, given its maximum environmental relevance, in full accordance with the objectives of the European Green Deal.

Aumentar la competitividad del sector agroalimentario ecológico andaluz a través del uso de tecnologías de la información y comunicación, TICs, que permitirán optimizar el trabajo, favorecer la toma de decisiones respecto al uso eficiente del agua y mejorar la biodiversidad en las explotaciones dada su máxima relevancia medioambiental, en total concordancia con los objetivos del Pacto Verde Europeo.
Activities
Develop an ICT tool to facilitate the introduction of environmental improvements on organic agro-industrial farms, as well as the optimal management of water resources.
• Implement and fine-tune the ICT tool in a pilot farm and evaluate its applicability in commercial farms.
• Calculate the water footprint of the farm after using the tool.
• Carry out a comparative cost analysis to achieve a high level of on-farm biodiversity to the detriment of the need for input use, facilitating inter-annual improvement of biodiversity.
• Creation of a website, field visits, conferences, publication of didactic material, among others
Activities
Desarrollar una herramienta TIC que facilite la introducción de mejoras ambientales en explotaciones agroindustriales ecológicas, así como la gestión óptima de los recursos hídricos.
• Implementar y poner a punto la herramienta TIC en una explotación piloto evaluando su aplicabilidad en explotaciones comerciales
• Calcular la huella del agua en la explotación tras el uso de la herramienta.
• Realizar un análisis comparativo de costes para alcanzar un nivel alto de biodiversidad
• Creación de una web propia, realización de visitas a campo, jornadas, edición de material didáctico, entre otros

1 Practice Abstracts
The expected outcome of the project is the provision of a versatile and intuitive IT tool to support the organic farmer in the management of his water resources (crop and/or agro-industry), as well as in the improvement of the biodiversity of his farm. Optimal management of water resources and biodiversity based on information captured by local and remote sensors, transmitted and processed using ICTs. This optimisation of water use and improvement of biodiversity are key aspects in the consumer's assessment criteria for organic products, as expressly described in the texts of the European Green Pact, and therefore have a positive impact on the agri-food market due to their sustainable production, thus improving the competitiveness of companies dedicated to organic production.
El resultado esperado del proyecto es la disposición de una herramienta informática versátil e intuitiva que apoye al productor ecológico en la gestión de sus recursos hídricos (cultivo y/o agroindustria), así como en la mejora de la biodiversidad de su explotación. La gestión óptima de los recursos agua y biodiversidad a partir de información captada por sensores locales y remotos, transmitida y procesada mediante TICs. Esta optimización del uso del agua y mejora de biodiversidad son aspectos claves en los criterios de valoración del consumidor de productos ecológicos, tal y como se describe expresamente en los textos del Pacto Verde Europeo, de ahí que tenga una repercusión positiva en el mercado de productos agroalimentarios por su producción sostenible, mejorándose así la competitividad de las empresas dedicadas a la producción ecológica
