Objectives

As part of this project the process shall be modified to realize killing up to 4 to 8 animals successively. This will ensure a more economical delivery of significant amount to the retail traders. Regional sales of organic meat, produced without mental pressure for animals can thus be increased.

Objectives

Im Rahmen des Projekts soll ein solches Verfahren so verändert werden, dass das Töten von 4 bis 8 Tieren nacheinander möglich wird. Damit wird eine wirtschaftlichere Belieferung des Handels mit signifikanten Mengen ermöglicht, um den regionalen Absatz biologisch erzeugter und ohne Stress getöteter Tiere zu erhöhen.

Activities

Partly mobile slaughter means to kill animals, in this case bovine, on site on the ranch. Usually this is done by stunning with captive bolt and a following bleeding to death. Afterwards, the dead bodies are being carried to a slaughter house for further processing. For this purpose a mobile unit belonging to the slaughterhouse and an employee of the slaughterhouse who will operate the unit are necessary. Processes for partly mobile slaughter of single animals already exist.

Activities

Teilmobile Schlachtung bedeutet, dass Tiere, in diesem Fall Rinder, vor Ort auf dem landwirtschaftlichen Betrieb getötet werden. In der Regel erfolgt dies durch Betäubung mit einem Bolzenschuss und anschließender Entblutung. Für den weiteren Schlachtprozess werden die Tierkörper zum Schlachthof transportiert. Hierfür ist eine mobile Einheit notwendig, die zum Schlachthof gehört und von einem Schlachthof Mitarbeiter bedient wird. Es existieren bereits Verfahren zur teilmobilen Schlachtung von Einzeltieren.
