Sustainable grain drying with maize spindles

Contexte
The project idea arose from the desire for a sustainable energy supply for the drying process in order to improve the added value of threshed crops. The focus is on the extraction of maize cobs as plant-based fuels for grain drying.
Die Projektidee entstand aus dem Wunsch nach einer nachhaltigen Energieversorgung für den Trocknungsprozess, um die Wertschöpfung von Druschfrüchten zu verbessern. Im Fokus steht die Gewinnung von Maisspindeln als pflanzliche Brennstoffe für die Getreidetrocknung.
Objectives
The aim of the project is a more cost-effective, environmentally friendly drying process that is independent of fossil fuels. In the area of biomass plants, all (relevant) technologies available on the market are to be investigated with regard to the use of fuel and their suitability for the drying process (provision of the required amount of energy). A comprehensive analysis will also be carried out in the area of maize spindle collection technology. An economic analysis of the machines, harvest and transportation costs will be carried out. Finally, the individual components/modules will be integrated into an overall concept.
Objectives
Ziel des Projektes ist ein kostengünstigeres, umweltfreundliches Trocknungsverfahren, unabhängig von fossilen Brennstoffen. Im Bereich der Biomasse-Anlagen sollen alle am Markt verfügbaren (relevanten) Techniken bezüglich des Brennstoffeinsatzes sowie deren Eignung für den Trocknungsprozess (Bereitstellung der benötigten Energiemenge) eruiert werden. Eine umfassende Analyse wird auch im Bereich Maisspindelsammeltechnik durchgeführt. Es erfolgt die wirtschaftliche Betrachtung der Maschinen, Ernte sowie der Transportkosten. Abschließend erfolgt die Integration der einzelnen Komponenten/Bausteine in ein Gesamtkonzept.
