Objectives

A cocktail of well-characterized bacteria isolated from healthy piglets is administered to piglets prior to first colostrum uptake in order to influence and stabilize gut immunity.

The hypothesis is, that the incidence of suckling piglet diarrhoea and piglet losses will be lower than in the control group.
