Objectives

Make the cooperative wine sector of Castilla-La Mancha more sustainable and competitive, through the development of software that allows the best quality of the grape and the unification of its criteria, encourages winegrowers, vineyard zoning, planning the harvests, strategies and position the cooperative wineries of Castilla-La Mancha as a world reference.

Objectives

Activities

Development of a software that allows managing a wide range of data and information on the cultivation of the vine in order to facilitate the differentiation of the quality of the grape, and with it the liquidation of the same to the farmers

1 Practice Abstracts

It is a software that has the possibility of uploading into it all the information from the harvest declaration made in Castilla la Mancha through DECOVI with the updated and perfectly georeferenced wine registry, together with the information from the scale tickets provided by the partners during the harvest. Once the software loads this data, the user winery can determine what parameters to take into account to measure quality (grape grade, acidity, pH, etc.), which can be corrected by additional health parameters (gluconic, potash, etc.), and decide the weighting that best suits the products to be produced.

This software presents multiple possibilities by being able to make queries that will allow the winery to segment the results: by grape variety and color, by quality and payment range, by agronomic parameters, etc. and all this through graphic outputs through a powerful Geographic Information System", which will allow the user wineries to make cultivation zoning maps of all the plots of their supplier partners, being able to plan the harvest tasks, and pick the grapes at the optimal time and health status, and even make comparisons between the liquidations with respect to previous years. In short, the GO-DICAUVACOOP pilot project makes available to the cooperative wineries in the region, from this same harvest, a pioneering software that will help them establish commercial policies and strategies that generate greater value to their wine products, turning the C-LM cooperative wineries into a world reference in the differentiation of the quality of the grapes and in the sustainable cultivation of the vineyard, both in conventional and organic production.
