Objectives

-Diagnose the economic sustainability and competitiveness of ruminant farms, providing them with alternative management strategies to make them viable.

-It will respond to the social, political and sectoral demand to monitor the sustainability and economic viability of the livestock activity of domestic ruminant farms.

-Provide socioeconomic analysis and management tools with which to improve the decision-making process. Said tools will be based on comparisons by real reference pairs, through "benchmarking", which will make it possible to offer viable management alternatives to the farmers who participate in the project.

Activities

Implementation of an app for websites and smartphones to monitor and analyze competitiveness and support decision-making. This app offers the producer a tool to control the productive and commercial processes that are carried out in the livestock and facilitate decision making

1 Practice Abstracts

SmartBreed CLM is an innovative project for the development of digital tools for ruminant farming in Castilla-La Mancha, with the aim of helping it to be more sustainable and competitive, facilitating decision-making and its socioeconomic control. The aim is to develop an innovative strategy based on obtaining socioeconomic indicators that anticipate the decline of the population, opening the possibility of identifying in advance the causes that are generating the situation being experienced, focusing on specific measures in each case.
