Objectives
The Project, through to the implementation of a software (+app) aims at: supporting breeders in managing mating plans of sheep-breeds with a limited diffusion in order to help the conservation and the sustainable use of their genetic variation; encouraging the process of characterisation of local sheep farms on a geographic basis, using additional socio-cultural and environmental indicators for an economic enhancement of related products, with reference to the traceability of the production; using/implementing data and information during the process of conversion to the organic production system; developing efficient communication and marketing strategies.
Objectives
Il Progetto attraverso la realizzazione di un software (+app) intende:
-supportare gli Allevatori nella gestione riproduttiva delle razze ovine a limitata diffusione al fine di consentire la conservazione e l'utilizzo sostenibile della loro variabilità genetica,
-caratterizzare su base geografica gli allevamenti delle razze ovine autoctone, individuando indicatori di valore aggiunto socio-culturale ed ambientale per una valorizzazione economica delle produzioni collegate soprattutto in termini di tracciabilità delle produzioni,
-valorizzare tali dati nei processi di conversione al regime biologico,
- sviluppare efficaci strategie di comunicazione e marketing.
Activities
The following activity plan is foreseen:
-preliminary meetings to coordinate all the actors involved
-activation and implementation of the Pilot Project to digitalize the data related to the breeding management (software with the mobile app) with important results linked to mating management, products traceability, biological characteristics, communication and marketing actions
-activation and implementation of informative campaigns related to the data digitalization and the biological breeding system, useful to the fulfillment of the PA.GO
-the participation of the GO to the Rural National Network and to the PEI Agri
-as a final step, outputs delivery.

Il Piano delle Attività (PAGO) prevede:
-Incontri preparatori di coordinamento
-L’attivazione e realizzazione del Progetto Pilota per la digitalizzazione dei dati collegati alla gestione degli allevamenti (software con applicazione mobile) con importanti risvolti legati alla gestione degli accoppiamenti, alla tracciabilità delle produzioni, al regime biologico, alla comunicazione e al marketing
-L’attivazione e la realizzazione di azioni di informazione funzionali alla realizzazione del PAGO collegate ai temi della digitalizzazione e dell’allevamento biologico
- La partecipazione del GO alla Rete Rurale Nazionale e al PEI Agri
- Una fase finale di disseminazione

1 Practice Abstracts
The Project Sheep Al.l. Chain aims at creating a tool for the management and the digital-fruition, at farm level, of the data collected thanks to projects of genetic recovery and the already existing databases, in order to help the breeders of local sheep breeds in Belluno to enhance economically their role of “farmers-custodians", improving the characterisation and the quality of their products. The project, through existing smart-technologies, will implement a software (with a mobile-application) that able to create a CHAIN among all the stakeholders involved in this process of valorisation. In particular, a tool based on web database will be created to support mating plans. This database will be integrated with georeferenced data of sheep farms, with the aim of enhancing the link between local sheep breeds and mountain landscape (ecosystem-services). This represents the ”added value” of the the local production-chain obtained from the two local breeds: Alpagota and Lamon. These data will beutilized for farm management-plans in order to switch into the organic production. Furthemore the data Will be used and tested for communication and marketing purposes. All the steps will be carried on with a participatory approach with an integration form a farm-level to a local -and district- sacle.
Il Progetto Sheep Al.l. Chain intende creare uno strumento di gestione e fruizione informatizzata a livello aziendale dei dati frutto di progetti di recupero genetico e banche dati esistenti affinché gli allevatori delle razze ovine autoctone bellunesi possano valorizzare economicamente il loro ruolo di “allevatori custodi”, migliorando la caratterizzazione e la qualità delle produzioni. Il progetto, utilizzando le tecnologie smart esistenti, realizzerà un software (con applicazione mobile) in grado di creare una “catena” (chain) di collegamento tra tutti i soggetti coinvolti nel processo di valorizzazione. In particolare verrà creato un data base a supporto dei piani di accoppiamento che andrà ad integrarsi con un data base georeferenziato per la tracciabilità geografica delle produzioni, finalizzato a promuovere il “valore aggiunto” di queste filiere dato dal legame tra razze ovine locali (Alpagota e Lamon) e territorio montano (Servizi ecosistemici). Questi dati saranno valorizzati all'interno di piani gestionali per la conversione al biologico ed infine utilizzati sperimentalmente a scopo di comunicazione e marketing. Tutte le fasi saranno svolte con approccio partecipativo e la dimensione aziendale verrà integrata in una prospettiva territoriale e comprensoriale.
