Objectives
The aim of this project is to work on the management of the Norman Douglas fir, 1st species of reforestation in private forests and its adaptation to climate change by setting up a demonstration network. It will specify in particular the health risks and its productivity, the list of adapted species. The renewal of stands appears as a major challenge for private forests, with the arrival of a large number of trees in the next 30 to 40 years. This project aims to create a network of references and demonstration on efficient planting techniques and schemes for the region.

Ce projet a pour objectif de travailler sur la gestion du Douglas normand, 1ère essence de reboisement en forêt privée et son adaptation au changement climatique par la mise en place d’un réseau de démonstration. Il précisera notamment les risques sanitaires et sa productivité, la liste des essences adaptées. Le renouvellement des peuplements apparait comme un enjeu majeur de la forêt privée, avec l’arrivée à maturité dans les 30 à 40 prochaines années d’un grand nombre d’arbres. Ce projet vise donc la création d’un réseau de références et de démonstration sur des techniques et schémas de plantation efficients pour la région.
