A single protocol has been designed after compiling the existing prospecting protocols, although the most widely used were selected, proceeding to an exhaustive analysis of their methodologies. Among the existing protocols, emphasis has been placed on the one used by the Xunta de Galicia for its periodic projections, with weekly surveys, except for the part on parasitism, which was studied separately.
It has been possible to distinguish between necessary measurement parameters and other optional ones that may be useful for research. In this way, they have been reduced, since there were too many parameters, which entails a dense execution operation, allowing certain measurements to be saved and procedures to be summarised. The minutes show the evidence of the debate and establishment of the single Protocol, outlining the parameters and times of measurement, as well as the best times of the year within the biological cycle of Gonipterus.
This single protocol for prospecting eucalyptus stands will be applied in Galicia and also in Asturias and Cantabria. Additionally, the evaluation of parasitism was addressed, resulting in a unified method for carrying out field and laboratory measurements, developed in the corresponding Manual resulting from the unification of methodology and forms of action. This was also achieved.
This result is relevant for the development of the Project, but even more so for the identification of damage, its classification and its interregional and time comparability. This homogenization and verification of its effectiveness is supported by the surveys and results of the surveys of the Xunta and the additional surveys.

Objetivo alcanzado
Se ha conseguido diseñar un protocolo único tras la recopilación de los protocolos existentes de prospección existentes, si bien se seleccionaron los más extendidos, procediendo al análisis exhaustivo de sus metodologías. Entre los protocolos existentes se ha hecho hincapié en el que usa la Xunta de Galicia para sus proyecciones periódicas, con apeos semanales, excepto la parte de parasitación que se estudió aparte.
Se ha conseguido distinguir parámetros de medición necesarios y otros opcionales que pueden ser útiles para investigación. De esa forma se han reducido pues eran demasiados parámetros lo que comporta una densa operativa de ejecución, pudiendo ahorrarse determinadas mediciones y resumir procedimientos. En las actas se muestra la evidencia del debate y establecimiento del Protocolo único reseñando los parámetros y las veces de medición, así como las mejores épocas del año dentro del ciclo biológico del Gonipterus.
Ese protocolo único de prospección de las masas de eucalipto se aplicará en Galicia y también en Asturias y Cantabria.
Adicionalmente se trató la evaluación del parasitismo, resultado un método unificado también para realizar las mediciones en campo y laboratorio, desarrollado en el Manual correspondiente resultante de la unificación de metodología y formas de actuación. También conseguido éste.
Este resultado es relevante para el desarrollo del Proyecto, pero más aún para la identificación de los daños, su clasificación y su comparabilidad interregional, y en el tiempo. Esta homogeneización y comprobación de su eficacia está avalada por los apeos y resultados de las prospecciones de la Xunta y las prospecciones adicionales.
