To conduct a comprehensive analysis of how regional, national, and EU policy conditions influence the implementation of innovations in Intermediate Value Chains (IVCs), it is essential to follow a structured approach. The FAIRCHAIN project employed a practical, step-by-step approach to uncover how different policies impact implementation of innovations in IVCs:
1) Gather feedback during the early stages of the innovation process through simple policy templates, mapping out drivers and hurdles along th way.
2) Set-up an in-depth examination based on the policy assessment framework focussing on practical implications of existing institutional, financial, infrastructural and cultural policy conditions through continuous dialogues with the case studies and their stakeholders.
3) Organize a policy workshop to focus on replicability, bringing together the different innovations from different regions. This implements knowledge exchange across borders and institutional bodies.
By following this step-by-step approach, researchers can effectively assess the influence of policy conditions on innovation implementation in IVCs. The goal is to provide actionable insights that support SMEs in thriving economically while being environmentally conscious.
Om een uitgebreide analyse uit te voeren van hoe regionale, nationale en EU-beleidsvoorwaarden de implementatie van innovaties in Intermediate Value Chains (IVC's) beïnvloeden, is het essentieel om een gestructureerde aanpak te volgen. Inzicht in deze factoren is cruciaal voor belanghebbenden zoals bedrijfsleiders en beleidsmakers die regio's willen sturen om economisch sterk te staan en tegelijkertijd milieubewust te zijn.
Het FAIRCHAIN project maakte gebruik van een praktische, stapsgewijze aanpak om te ontdekken hoe verschillend beleid de implementatie van innovaties in IVC's beïnvloedt:
1) Verzamel feedback tijdens de eerste fasen van het innovatieproces door middel van eenvoudige beleidssjablonen, waarbij de drijvende krachten en hindernissen in kaart worden gebracht.
2) Start diepgaander onderzoek op basis van een beleidsbeoordelingskader, gericht op praktische implicaties van bestaande institutionele, financiële, infrastructurele en culturele beleidsvoorwaarden door middel van voortdurend in dialoog te gaan met de case studies en hun belanghebbenden.
3) Organiseer een beleidsworkshop gericht op repliceerbaarheid, waarbij de verschillende innovaties uit verschillende regio's worden samengebracht. Dit zorgt voor kennisuitwisseling over grenzen en institutionele organen heen.
