Artificial Intelligence is a technology in development that is finding new applications in many sectors, modifying and improving its modes of operation, and that can help many of the modification schemes in various sectors in these sectors.
The commercial and production decisions are based on the price of supply and demand data, and that makes it difficult to optimize the process.
In this project, BioHortaflor, innovates, aims to develop tools that provide:
- Optimal irrigation strategies and their use as input to artificial intelligence models
- Forecast models in the offer to optimize the commercial strategy and the operation of fresh or cut flower crops, including the irrigation strategies inputs
The objective is defined in which partner projects for the selection of this project.
Therefore what is going to be done in the project is:
1. Define optimal irrigation strategies in citrus, fruit, cut flowers and vegetables, by using tensiometers that provide greenhouse input data
2. Develop predictive models of in-process collection using artificial intelligence algorithms, which feed on climate data and greenhouse products, as well as those derived from agronomy management and tensiometers
3. Adjust an optimization tool with economic conditions that define the actions to be carried out in the commercial strategy of the products and their sale price that contains a production production and another more accurate, so as to increase competitiveness and profit for greenhouse operations.
La Inteligencia Artificial es una tecnología en desarrollo que está encontrando aplicaciones nuevas en muchos sectores, modificando y mejorando sus modos de operación, y que va a mejorar muchos de los esquemas de interacción entre diversos actores en dichos sectores.
Las decisiones comerciales y de producción se basan en estimaciones sobre datos de oferta y demanda, que son difíciles de determinar a futuro debido a que dependen de la interacción compleja de muchos factores, y eso dificulta la optimización del proceso.
En este proyecto BioHortaflor Innova pretende desarrollar herramientas que proporcionen:
- Estrategias óptimas de riego y su uso como entrada a modelos de inteligencia artificial
- Modelos previsiones en la oferta para optimizar la estrategia comercial y de operación de cultivos de fresco o flor cortada, incluyendo como entradas las estrategias de riego
