Objectives
Achieving in arable farming and horticulture the valorization of the total plant by:
● the production of sustainably produced plant matter substances and plant-related substances;
● apply them in different chains and for different products.
The project supports the switch to a bio-based economy and future-oriented agriculture.
Objectives
Komen in de akkerbouw en tuinbouw tot het verwaarden van de totale plant. Dit door:
● het winnen van duurzaam geproduceerde plantinhoudstoffen en plantgerelateerde stoffen;
● die toepassen in verschillende ketens en voor verschillende producten.
Het project ondersteunt de omslag naar een Biobased Economy en toekomstgerichte landbouw.
Activities
Na een keuze voor kansrijke gewassen en teelten komt in de (praktijk)fase het kleinschalig testen en ontwikkelen van innovaties. Elk onderdeel richt zich op een eigen
aspect van plant en plantinhoudstoffen:
● het optimaliseren van de opbrengst van plantinhoudstoffen uit gewassen. Hierbij wordt gekeken naar de teelt van de gewassen en onder welke Veenkoloniale omstandigheden dat gebeurt;
● het ontwikkelen van plantinhoudstoffen tot natuurlijke biociden;
● het verwaarden van gewasresten en andere reststromen die bovendien gebruikt kunnen worden voor het sluiten van kringlopen.
Activities
After a choice for promising crops and crops, small-scale testing and development of innovations will take place in the (practical) phase. Each part focuses on its own
aspect of plant and plant content:
● optimizing the yield of plant content substances from crops. This involves looking at the cultivation of the crops and under which peat colonial conditions that happens;
● the development of plant content substances into natural biocides;
● the valorisation of crop residues and other residual flows that can also be used for closing cycles.
Context
In planten en plantenresten kunnen werkzame stoffen zitten die interessant zijn voor diverse toepassingen en markten. Men denke bijvoorbeeld aan:
● stoffen met een medicinale werking;
● kleurstoffen;
● geur- en smaakstoffen voor bijvoorbeeld parfums;
● bepaalde soorten gewasbeschermingsmiddelen.
Mogelijkheden om hier een verdienmodel voor de landbouw te ontwikkelen blijven onbenut.
