1 Practice Abstracts

In Oudewater-North, 30 farmers (on 1 440 ha of peatland) are working on a broad-based area plan that integrates climate, biodiversity and agricultural goals. The initiative has been launched bottom-up and focuses on a place-based and consensual approach. With this grant, we want to professionalise: from local energy and ideas to a widely supported and feasible area plan.

In Oudewater-Noord werken 30 boeren (op 1440 ha veenweidegebied) aan een breed gedragen gebiedsplan dat klimaat-, biodiversiteits- en landbouwdoelen integreert. Het initiatief is bottom-up gestart en richt zich op een gebiedseigen aanpak met draagvlak. Met deze subsidie willen we professionaliseren: van lokale energie en ideeën naar een breed gedragen en uitvoerbaar gebiedsplan.
