Objectives
During the corona crisis, ornamental plant growers found out how weak they are in the chain. They bear all the financial risks in the chain. There is a power differential between the ornamental plant grower and the buyer. Moreover, the floricultural companies are not internally geared to the large number of customers they currently serve. This has already led to considerable financial and mental stress for the individual companies, as well as dissatisfaction among customers, with a negative impact on the entire chain as a result. This operational group aims to strengthen both the chain and the resilience of the ornamental plant growers through more professional customer management.
Objectives
Siertelers hebben tijdens de coronacrisis ondervonden hoe zwak zij in de keten staan. Zij dragen al het financieel risico in de keten. Er is een machtsverschil tussen de sierteler en de afnemer. Bovendien zijn de sierteeltbedrijven intern niet afgestemd op het grote aantal klanten dat zij vandaag bedienen. Dit heeft al geleid tot grote financiële en mentale stress voor de individuele sierteeltbedrijven en tot ontevredenheid bij de afnemers. Het gevolg is een negatieve impact op de hele keten. Deze operationele groep heeft als doel zowel de keten als de weerbaarheid van de siertelers te versterken door middel van een professioneler klantenbeheer.

The operational group wants to achieve this by customer segmentation and making the relationships between ornamental plant growers and their customers more sustainable. As a result, the ornamental plant growers should regain control of their business operations, resulting in more mental and financial peace.

De operationele groep wil dit bereiken door klantensegmentatie en het verduurzamen van de relaties tussen siertelers en hun klanten. Hierdoor moeten de siertelers weer grip op hun bedrijfsvoering krijgen met als resultaat meer mentale en financiële rust.
