Optimization and expansion of the production and exploitation potential of native wild fruits
Optimierung und Erweiterung des Produktions- und Verwertungspotentials heimischer Wildobstarten
Objectives
The aim of the project is, on the one hand, to record the effects of new findings on the cultivation of the culture sanddorn on the yield. On the other hand, new, innovative (cultural) wild fruits are to be tested under the climatic and locational conditions of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the range of cultivations of specialized companies expanded in a perspective. From the assessment of the physico-chemical properties of these wild fruits, utilization potentials and marketing strategies for new, innovative products will be developed.
Objectives
Ziel des Projektes ist zum einen, die Auswirkungen neuer Erkenntnisse zur Pflege der Kultur-Sanddorn auf den Ertrag zu erfassen. Zum anderen sollen neue, innovative (Kultur)-Wildobstarten unter den Klima- und Standortbedingungen Mecklenburg-Vorpommerns geprueft und perspektivisch das Anbauportfolio der spezialisierten Betriebe erweitert werden. Aus der Bewertung der physikalisch-chemischen Eigenschaften dieser Wildobstarten sollen Nutzungspotentiale erarbeitet werden und Marketingstrategien fuer neue, innovative Vor- und Endprodukte entwickelt werden.
