Objectives

The objective of this project is to develop an aquaponics pilot and test the production of a range of horticultural plants (annuals, perennials, small shrubs, etc.) in aquaponics with ornamental fish, in order to:

- To optimize production systems with regard to cropping itineraries;
- To develop solid technical solutions for plant and animal systems on an "ornamental" approach
- Transfer and disseminate knowledge to students and the sector

Objectives

L’objectif de ce projet est de développer un pilote d’aquaponie et tester la production d’une palette de plantes horticoles (annuelles, vivaces, petits arbuste… ) en aquaponie avec de poissons ornementaux, afin :

- D’optimiser les systèmes de production au regard des itinéraires culturaux ;
- D’élaborer des solutions techniques solides pour des systèmes végétal et animal sur une approche « ornementale »
- Transférer et diffuser la connaissance auprès des étudiants et de la filière

Action 1: Plant health (sanitary status, integrated biological protection, quality monitoring)
Action 2: Production of young nursery plants (classic perennial and annual horticultural ranges, nursery and berry range, comparison aquaponics vs. classic on fertilization cost, yield, quality of plants)
Action 3: Production of plants of industrial interest (link with previous project on plants of interest in cosmetology and pharmacology)
Action 4: Innovative technical itineraries (adaptation of cultivation itineraries, cultivation under LED, zootechnics for the production of ornamental fish)
Action 5: Optimization of management tools (improvement of the system via measurement probes, alarms, automated and optimized distribution of fish feed, management of water supply, system economy, installation cost, structural charges , profit from aquaculture and horticultural production, technical and economic dimensioning elements)

Action 1 : Santé des végétaux (état sanitaire,protection biologique intégrée, suivi qualité)
Action 2 : Production de jeunes plants de pépinière (gammes classiques horticoles vivaces et annuelles, gamme pépnière et petits fruits, comparaison aquaponie vs classique sur coût de fertilisation, rendement, qualité des plants)
Action 3 : Production de plants d’intérêt industriel (lien avec précédent projet sur plantes d'intérêt en cosmétologie et pharmacologie)
Action 4 : Itinéraires techniques innovants (adaptation des itinéraires de culture, culture sous LED, zootechnie de production de poissons ornementaux)
Action 5 : Optimisation des outils de pilotage (amélioration du système via sondes de mesure, des alarmes, distribution automatisée et optimisée de l’alimentation des poissons, gestion des apports d’eau, économie du système, coût d’installation, charges de structure, bénéfice de la production aquacole et horticole, éléments de dimensionnement technico-économique)
