Objectives
Development of innovative strategies for the treatment of endemic (verticiliosis) and emerging diseases (Rapid decay of the olive tree syndrome caused by X. fastidiosa) in olive trees, to improve the economic results and sustainability of olive farms and derived industries. Preventive (biostimulant), corrective and early detection strategies will be developed to fight verticyliosis, and corrective treatments will be developed against X. fastidiosa. This is intended to contribute to the progress of the olive and olive oil industries by improving the productivity of olive farms.
Objectives
Desarrollo de estrategias innovadoras para tratamiento de enfermedades endémicas (verticiliosis) y emergentes (Síndrome del decaimiento rápido del olivo ocasionado por X. fastidiosa) en olivo, para mejorar los resultados económicos y sostenibilidad de las explotaciones olivareras e industrias derivadas. Se desarrollarán estrategias preventivas (bioestimulantes), correctivas y de detección temprana para combatir la verticiliosis, y estrategias correctivas contra X. fastidiosa. Con esto se pretende contribuir al progreso de la industria olivarera y la industria oleícola mejorando la productividad de las explotaciones de olivar.
Activities
ACTIVITY 1: Diagnosing and evaluating verticilosis-infected fields in DCOOP cooperatives
ACTIVITY 2: development of preventive strategy for increased productivity and for the prevention of diseases in olive fields.
ACTIVITY 3: development of preventive and corrective strategy for increasing olive productivity and for the prevention/correction of diseases in the olive fields.
ACTIVITY4: Development of strategies for early detection of affected crops and development of preventive models.
ACTIVITY 5: Study in the field of strategies developed in activities 2, 3 and 4 and evaluation of their effectiveness in real growing conditions.

ACTIVIDAD 1: diagnóstico y evaluación de campos infectados por verticilosis en las cooperativas de DCOOP
ACTIVIDAD 2: desarrollo de estrategia preventivas para el aumento de la productividad y para la prevención de enfermedades en el olivar.
ACTIVIDAD 3: desarrollo de estrategia preventivas y correctivas para el aumento de la productividad del olivo y para la prevención/corrección de enfermedades en el olivar.
ACTIVIDAD 4: desarrollo de estrategias para la detección temprana de los cultivos afectados y desarrollo de modelos preventivos
ACTIVIDAD 5: Estudio en campo de las estrategias desarrolladas en las actividades 2, 3 y 4 y evaluación de su efectividad en condiciones reales de cultivo.
