1 Practice Abstracts

Miscanthus belongs to the grass family. The perennial, evergreen and tufted plants offer favourable conditions for use as a renewable source of biomass, fuel, building material or animal bedding. The project will collect data on trial plots and assess sustainability. In addition, potential markets for innovative, durable miscanthus products will be developed. The project area covers the region of Central Hesse.
