Maximize harvest with seed revitalization

Objectives
To further develop an eco-friendly seed treatment technique, which improves biological properties of seeds and leads to increased yields on the same cultivation area but with less cultivation cost. The goal is for the project to contribute to being able to address the food shortage in the world, through increased yields per unit area. Furthermore, the project will reduce the need for pesticides and chemicals in agriculture.

Vidareutveckla en miljövänlig fröbehandlingsteknik, som förbättrar biologiska egenskaper hos fröer och leder till ökad skörd på samma odlingsyta med mindre odlingskostnad. Målet är att projektet ska bidra till att kunna åtgärda matbristen i världen totalt genom ökad skörd per ytenhet. Vidare ska projektet minska behovet av bekämpningsmedel och kemikalier i lantbruket.

The project includes revitalization of seeds and trial cultivation of these, both in the open and in greenhouses.
