Objectives
The project "Luppolo free", derives from the need of Sicilian craft beer producers to find a replacement product to the hops, which may give and return olfactory and gustatory peculiarities found in the beers available on the market. The production of craft beer, a sector that is proving to be economically very interesting and which leaves ample scope and a project to relaunch the cereal sector in Sicily, hit in recent years by the inflection of wheat market prices.
Objectives
Il progetto “Luppolo free”, nasce dall’esigenza dei produttori siciliani di birra artigianale di trovare un prodotto sostitutivo al luppolo, che possa nel contempo restituire i sentori che caratterizzano peculiarità olfattive e gustative ad oggi riscontrabili nelle birre presenti in commercio. La produzione della birra artigianale, un settore che si sta rivelando economicamente molto interessante e che lascia ampio respiro ad un progetto di rilancio del comparto cerealicolo in Sicilia, colpito negli ultimi anni dall’inflessione dei prezzi di mercato del grano.
