Objectives

Aim of this project is the demonstration and development of a sustainable organic small fruit production in Baden-Württemberg. The cooperation of small fruit growers, scientists and consultants within the OPG concentrates the knowledge for this project.

Objectives

Mit diesem Projekt soll eine zukunftsfähige ökologische Produktion von Beerenobst in Baden-Württemberg demonstriert und weiterentwickelt werden. Durch die Zusammensetzung der OPG aus erfahrenen Praktikern, Versuchsanstellern und Beratung ergibt sich eine größtmögliche Kompetenz für dieses Vorhaben.

Activities

Plantings für demonstration and experiments will take place on the area of LVWO Weinsberg and private farms. The performance of these plantations will be based on experiences of growers, scientists and consultants (BÖO, NÜPA). The conditions of an organic production according the site, production methods and varieties will be considered. It ist also necessary to show different levels or production intensification. Especially the effect of protected cultivation as tunnel, raincover and plant protection nets on the rentability will be shown.

Activities

Versuche und Musterpflanzungen sollen an der LVWO Weinsberg und auf Praxisbetrieben, nach Erfahrungen der Praktiker und Berater (BÖO, NÜPA), prallel betrieben werden. Durch entsprechende Sorten- und Standortwahl sowie Boden- und Pflanzenpflege werden die Voraussetzungen für den Öko-Anbau berücksichtigt. Dazu ist es auch notwendig verschiedene Stufen der Intensivierung in der Kulturführung aufzuzeigen. Insbesondere zählt die Kulturführung in geschützten Systemen (Tunnel, Regenkappen, Einnetzung) hierzu, deren Auswirkungen auf die Ökonomik beträchtlich sein können. Darüber hinaus sollen Vermarktungsstrukturen für ein vielfältiges Angebot erweitert und aufgebaut werden.
