Objectives

The project objective is developing of innovative technological solutions to reclamation of wood processing by-products, further processing and adding value to forest resources by developing (a) house insulation materials, (b) granulated heating materials, (c) extraction methods of raw materials for food additives and (d) soil improvement products in combination with sapropel and offering them to companies in forestry sector.

Activities

1. Developing and verification of methodology for using forest logging by-products in house insulation materials;

2. Developing and verification of methodology for in-depth processing of forest by-products, reclaiming valuable compounds (chlorophyll, polyprenol, terpenoids, etc.);

3. Developing and verification of methodology for production of soil protection and improvement products, based on biomaterials;

4. Developing and verification of methodology for production of granulated heating material.
