Activities
A (supplemented) business plan for each participant,
- An area plan at the level of the partnership,
- Guiding participants in the implementation at an individual level,
- Guiding participants in the implementation in groups,
- Communication plan and elaboration there of (films, booklet, website),
- Sixteen small meetings at the participating companies per year,
- Twelve large meetings about the project period,
- Annual interim reports and a final report,
- Extensification by taking various measures at the nine participants, such as expanding the area, fewer cows, reducing manure on the land and reducing milk production.H55

- Extensivering door bij de negen deelnemers verschillende maatregelen te treffen, zoals uitbreiding areaal, minder koeien, verminderen van mest op het land en verlagen van melkproductie.H55

1 Practice Abstracts
With the project ‘IJsselBoeren’ nine dairy farmers in the transition area of the Natura 2000 area Rijntakken have started a project to extensify their businesses. The participating dairy farmers have set up a partnership and drawn up a project plan. With the project they want to contribute to the improvement of the nature of the Natura 2000 area and work on a future-oriented more extensive business management for their businesses.
Met het project ‘IJsselBoeren’ hebben negen melkveehouders in het overgangsgebied van het Natura2000 gebied Rijntakken een project opgestart om hun bedrijven te gaan extensiveren. De deelnemende melkveehouders hebben een samenwerkingsverband opgericht en een projectplan opgesteld. Met het project willen ze een bijdrage leveren aan de natuurverbetering van het Natura2000 gebied en werken aan een toekomstgerichte extensievere bedrijfsvoering voor hun bedrijven.
