Objectives

The planned project focuses on sustainable energy supply, taking into account hydrogen as a component of energy provision in the region around the town of Mühlhausen. The existing companies and structures that already produce biogas today and can contribute to the supply of hydrogen in the future by converting existing plants are to be a key component.

Objectives

Das geplante Vorhaben hat die nachhaltige Energieversorgung unter Berücksichtigung von Wasserstoff als Baustein der Energiebereitstellung in der Region rund um die Stadt Mühlhausen zum Thema. Einen wesentlicher Bestandteil sollen die vorhandenen Unternehmen und Strukturen sein, die heute bereits Biogas produzieren und durch Umrüstung bestehender Anlagen zukünftig zur Wasserstoffbereitstellung beitragen können.

Activities

In order to jointly pursue the development of regional hydrogen supply infrastructures with reduced risk, two agricultural enterprises and scientific institutions have joined forces with local regional transport companies to investigate three promising innovative production possibilities for hydrogen from biogas and to create the necessary data basis for planning the feasibility of an initial lighthouse project.

Activities

Um den Weg der Entwicklung regionaler Wasserstoffversorgungsinfrastrukturen gemeinsam mit vermindertem Risiko zu beschreiten, haben sich zwei Agrarbetriebe und wissenschaftliche Einrichtungen vereint um gemeinsam mit ansässigen Regionalverkehrsunternehmen drei vielversprechende innovative Produktionsmöglichkeiten von Wasserstoff aus Biogas zu untersuchen und die notwendige Daten-grundlage bis hin zur Planung der Umsetzbarkeit eines ersten Leuchtturmprojektes zu schaffen.
