Objectives
The objective of GOGC4SHEEP is to increase the profitability of sheep farms through a transformation based on data and connected with innovations in fertility improvement. It has two sub-objectives: 1) The analysis of data in a federated sharing platform with -individualized security and equipped with artificial intelligence to achieve predictions aligned with improvements in the profitability of farms and 2) analysis of innovative solutions to improve fertility oriented to the management of males and females. to generate useful data for decision making

El objetivo del GOGC4SHEEP es incrementar la rentabilidad de las ganaderías ovinas a través de una transformación basada en el dato y conectadas con innovaciones en mejora de fertilidad. Tiene dos subojetivos:El análisis de datos en plataforma federada de compartición con seguridad individualizada y dotada de inteligencia artificial para conseguir predicciones alineadas con mejoras en la rentabilidad de las ganaderías y el análisis de soluciones innovadoras para mejorar la fertilidad orientadas a manejo de machos y hembras para generar datos útiles para la toma de decisiones

1 Practice Abstracts
The GC4SHEEP intends to work on the collection of joint data on the main sheep breeds in Spain with the aim of improving reproduction and fertility through predictive models for better decision-making. It will be based on key parameters such as seminal selection or employment extenders to improve semen quality.
But in order to analyze the data, they must be generated. In the framework of this project, data will be generated regarding reproductive management linked to improving the selection of females and males in the herds. For instance correlations related to the MIR spectra of milk and body condition, analysis of the reproductive performance of the best males based on the rate of jumping, correlations of the quality of males and lambs based on feeding, improvements in the quality of the extender to improve the viability of the semen through solutions and the quality of the stallions themselves to define culling based on big data. This set of analyzes will allow progress towards sheep farming 4.0, which will result in greater profitability of sheep farms.
The economic evaluation of the digital solution as a predictive tool for fertility and reproduction, which is key to evaluating the improvement in the profitability of farms, oriented towards the best management of the farm through artificial intelligence of the data that will be stored in the cloud platform based on the project's datalake.
El GC4SHEEP pretende trabajar en la recogida de datos conjunta de las principales razas de ovino de España con el objetivo de mejorar la reproducción y fertilidad a través de modelos predictivos para la mejor toma de decisiones, Se basará en parámetros clave como selección de sementales o empleo de diluyentes para mejorar la calidad del semen. Pero para poder analizar los datos hay que generarlos y en el marco de este proyecto se generarán datos en cuanto al manejo reproductivo vinculado a mejorar la selección de hembras y machos de los rebaños. correlaciones relacionados con los espectros MIR de la leche y con condición corporal, análisis del rendimiento reproductivo de los mejores machos en base al ritmo de saltos, correlaciones de la calidad de machos y corderas en base a alimentación, mejoras en la calidad del diluyente para mejorar la viabilidad del semen a través de soluciones y calidad de los sementales en sí mismos para definir descartes en base a big data. Este análisis conjunto permitirá un avance hacia una ganadería ovina 4.0, lo que resultará en una mayor rentabilidad de las explotaciones.
La valoración económica de la solución digital como herramienta predictiva de fertilidad y reproducción será clave para evaluar la mejora de la rentabilidad de las ganaderías orientado la mejor gestión de la explotación mediante inteligencia artificial de los datos que se almacenarán en la plataforma cloud basada en datalake.
