Objectives

The project aims to develop and test a system that monitors the farm's electric fencing and graphically illustrates this in an application. The system helps the farmer to quickly understand when, where and why problems have arisen with the electric fencing. The farmer are then able to quickly repair the damage before the livestock are escaping the pasture, or intrusion from wildlife. The farmer can also easily monitor the need for maintenance of the fence, such as trimming the vegetation around the electric fence or replacing a worn electrical wire.

Objectives

Syftet med projektet är att utveckla och testa ett system som övervakar gårdens elstängsel och grafiskt åskådliggör detta i en applikation. Vår tänkta innovation hjälper lantbrukaren att snabbt kunna vara på rätt plats och åtgärda skador vid t ex smitningar eller intrång av vilda djur, samt övervaka underhållsbehovet på stängslet såsom att röja växtligheten runt elstängslet eller byta ut en sliten eltråd.
