Energy efficient climate control in greenhouses

Objectives
To create a pilot system for heating and cooling connected to a return line for district heating, that enables residual heat to be used in greenhouse cultivation. This increases the utilization rate of the district heating system, but the innovation also shows a possibility of using low-temperature industrial residual heat, which today is an unused energy resource.

Att skapa ett pilotsystem för värme och kyla kopplat på en returledning för fjärrvärme som möjliggör att restvärmen kan användas i växthusodling. Därmed ökar fjärrvärmesystemets nyttjandegrad, men innovationen visar även möjligheten att använda lågtempererad industriell restvärme som idag är en outnyttjad energiresurs.
Activities
By optimizing several key parameters such as light, CO2, climate and air flow in the greenhouse, cultivation conditions can be created which will significantly optimize both productivity and economy, as well as the quality of cultivated products.

Genom att optimera flera centrala parametrar som ljus, CO2, klimat och luftströmning i växthuset kan det skapas odlingsförhållanden som väsentligt optimerar både produktivitet och ekonomi, samt kvalité på odlade produkter.
