Objectives

Phosphorus (P) is an essential nutrient element for all living beings, which cannot be replaced. However, innovations in the ‘Sewage Sludge Ordinance’ prohibit large sewage treatment plants from directly recycling sewage sludge in agriculture. New strategies for the efficient use of phosphorus are therefore necessary. The aim of the project is to investigate the effect of phosphorus recycling products from the multiple use of sewage sludge in the Central Hesse region on the yield +quality of the harvested products +to establish a P material flow management system. The fertilizer production is preceded by a thermal use, which should ensure that undesirable substances are removed without residues. 

Objectives

Phosphor (P) ist ein wesentliches Nährelement, welches nicht ersetzt werden kann. Eine Kreislaufwirtschaft, die P aus sekundären Rohstoffquellen zurückführt +der Landwirtschaft als P-Dünger zur Verfügung stellt ist unabdingbar. Neue Strategien zur effizienten Nutzung von Phosphor sind daher notwendig. Ziel ist, die Untersuchung der Wirkung von Phosphor-Recyclingprodukten aus der Mehrfachnutzung von Klärschlamm in Mittelhessen auf den Ertrag +die Qualität der Ernteprodukte + Etablierung eines P-Stoffstrommanagements. Der Düngemittelproduktion ist eine thermische Nutzung vorgelagert, welche sicherstellen soll, dass unerwünschte Stoffe ohne Rückstände entfernt werden.
