Objectives
Agriculture is facing major challenges and will have to change the way it operates. An innovation academy called FitFarmers is designed to help farmers do this. FitFarmers aims to show farms how they can make agriculture more sustainable by adding innovative business models. The focus is on climate-friendly methods. The aim of the digital innovation academy is to provide easy-to-understand, simply structured information content and digital tools for personal training based on the principle of "from practice for practice". This structure is intended to enable agricultural business to carry out their own evaluation of a presented innovative system approach.
Objectives
Die Landwirtschaft steht vor großen Herausforderungen und wird Betriebsweisen anpassen müssen. FitFarmers will den Betrieben zeigen, wie sie Landwirtschaft durch die Ergänzung innovativer Geschäftsmodelle nachhaltiger gestalten können. Im Mittelpunkt stehen klimafreundliche oder -schonende Methoden. Ziel der digitalen Innovationsakademie ist es, nach dem Prinzip „aus der Praxis für die Praxis“ leicht verständliche, einfach strukturierte Informationsinhalte und digitale Hilfsmittel für die persönliche Weiterbildung bereitzustellen. Durch diese Struktur sollen Betriebe befähigt werden, eine eigene Bewertung des vorgestellten innovativen Systemansatzes vorzunehmen.
Activities
Using the example of eight farms in Schleswig-Holstein, the change process in pig farming towards husbandry levels 3 and 4 is to be illustrated. The focus is on the development of a service package for advisory services. Data on the type of husbandry, feeding and resource consumption will be mapped and made available for further advice. The system should also enable responsible persons to prove their competence. The consortium sees the Smart Service as a file-based, individually configurable range of services consisting of a combination of existing sector-specific services with digital services that are organized and provided via an integrated cloud platform.
Activities
Verschiedene Weiterbildungsangebote sollen der Landwirtschaft die Umsetzung neuer Betriebszweige erleichtern. Geplant sind Kurzvideos und detaillierte Video-Einheiten. FitFarmers soll Checklisten, Kalkulationsvorlagen und Bewertungs-Tools, z.B. für eine Nachhaltigkeitsbilanzierung, enthalten. Im Mittelpunkt stehen Beispiele aus der Praxis, z.B. ein Agroforst-System. Alle Lerninhalte auf der Plattform sind in einzelne Arbeitsbereiche und Aufgabenfelder unterteilt, so dass eine Übertragbarkeit der einzelnen Systemansätze auf weitere landwirtschaftliche Betriebe gewährleistet werden kann.
