Kontext
Deze pilot is een van zeven landelijke pilots waarmee BoerenNatuur en LTO input verzamelen voor de Nederlandse invulling van de vergroening van het GLB na 2021.
Objectives
With this pilot project, the Northwest Overijssel collective aims to find a way for an easily adaptable, more effective and more efficient greening of the dairy cattle sector, with the lapwing as the billboard. In this way, dairy farming in this project not only contributes to improving the habitat of the lapwing, but also to achieving national biodiversity goals, among other things. The pilot is looking for a way in which the collective coordinates the greening measures of the CAP in the working area.

Objectives
Het collectief Noordwest Overijssel heeft als doel met dit pilotproject een manier te vinden voor een goed inpasbare, effectievere en efficiëntere vergroening van de melkveesector, met de kievit als uithangbord. Daarmee draagt de melkveehouderij in dit project niet alleen bij aan het verbeteren van het leefgebied van de kievit, maar ook aan het realiseren van onder andere landelijke biodiversiteitsdoelen. In de pilot wordt gezocht naar een manier waarop het collectief in het werkgebied de vergroeningsmaatregelen van het GLB coördineert.

Activities
The pilot is carried out from the perspective of the lapwing and the habitat that the lapwing and the chicks of the lapwing need, taking into account the adaptability within the farm. However, many measures for the lapwing do not only mean a profit for the lapwing, but also for biodiversity, landscape, water, soil and / or climate. By using the lapwing (the protection of which urgently requires attention) as the figurehead, the pilot not only becomes concrete and practical, but also has an appealing image to (potential) participants.
Activities
De pilot wordt uitgevoerd vanuit het perspectief van de kievit en het leefgebied dat de kievit en de kuikens van de kievit nodig hebben, rekening houdend met de inpasbaarheid binnen het boerenbedrijf. Veel maatregelen voor de kievit betekenen echter niet alleen winst voor de kievit, maar ook voor biodiversiteit, landschap, water, bodem en/of klimaat. Door de kievit (waarvan de bescherming dringend aandacht vereist) als boegbeeld te nemen, wordt de pilot niet alleen concreet en praktisch, maar heeft hij ook een wervende uitstraling naar (potentiële) deelnemers.
