Development and verification of high nutritional value sea buckthorn seed oil fraction extraction methodology using an innovative technology – supercritical fluid extraction as a solvent using CO2.

Objectives

Izstrādāt un verificēt metodoloģiju augstas uzturvērtības smiltsērkšķu eļļas frakciju iegūšanai no smiltsērkšķu sēklām, izmantojot inovatīvu metodi – superkritisko šķīdumu ekstrakciju kā šķīdinātāju izmantojot CO2.

Activities

An innovative methodology will be developed to produce high nutritional value sea buckthorn seed oil fractions out of sea buckthorn residues after juice pressing. This technology is intended to be implemented in manufacturing facility to enhance production efficiency and produce high added value products as ingredient using byproducts after juice pressing in order to create zero waste technology.

Tiks izstrādāta inovatīva metodoloģija (metode), lai no smiltsērkšķu sulas ražošanas blakusproduktiem - ogu sēklām varētu ražot augstas pievienotās vērtības produktu - augstas uzturvērtības smiltsērkšķu sēklu eļļas frakciju. Izstrādāto tehnoloģiju paredzēts ieviest ražotnē, lai nodrošinātu bezatlikumu ražošanas procesu, proti, no smiltsērkšķu ogām joprojām varēs iegūt sulu un citus produktus, bet sulas ieguves blakusprodukti tiks izmantoti augstas pievienotās vērtības produktu ražošanā. Tiks veikts efektivitātes novērtējums, gala produktam.
