Das Projekt soll die Basis für eine ressourcenschonende und zukunftssichere Topfpflanzenproduktion in NRW legen. Die beteiligten Unternehmen möchten sich in die Lage versetzten sich in allen Bereichen der Nachhaltigkeit zu verbessern.
Activities
The partners of the operational group will develop practical solutions without having to take on any increased cultural or commercial risks. As a basis for a holistic view, an analysis of the status quo of the participating flower nurseries will be carried out. Therefor, an existing model for the quantification of sustainability is adapted to the specifics of horticulture. The results will be used to elaborate general fields of action and to develop individual solutions for agricultural companies. At the same time, a marketing strategy will be developed in order to generate an additional value of the products.
Activities
Die beteiligten Unternehmen werden praxistaugliche Lösungen entwickeln, ohne dafür ein erhöhtes kulturtechnisches oder betriebswirtschaftliches Risiko eingehen zu müssen. Als Grundlage für eine ganzheitliche Betrachtung wird eine Analyse zum Status-quo der beteiligten Gärtnereien durchgeführt. Dazu wird ein für die Landwirtschaft existierendes Modell zur Quantifizierung von Nachhaltigkeit an die Spezifika im Gartenbau adaptiert. Aus den Ergebnissen werden allgemeingültige Handlungsfelder heraus gearbeitet und für die Betriebe individuelle Lösungen entwickelt. Parallel wird an einer Vermarktungsstrategie gearbeitet, um einen Mehrwert für die Produkte zu generieren.
