Objectives

The aim of the project is the development of a new Instrument for economic and animal friendly plasmapheresis in the horse in a one Step process for serum extraction for the production of PMSG. This is intended to improve animal welfare. The daily blood collection of the horse will be repiaced by a one-time per week.

Ziel des Vorhabens ist die Entwicklung eines weltweit neuen Gerätes zur wirtschaftlichen und tierschonenden Plasmapharese beim Pferd in einem One-Step-Verfahren zur Serum-Gewinnung für die Produktion von PMSG. Hierdurch soll zur Verbesserung des Tierwohles die tägliche Blutentnahme des Pferdes ersetzt werden durch eine einmalige pro Woche.
