Objectives
The aim of the project is to provide a practicable instrument for fast and regular analysis of animal welfare on Schleswig-Holstein dairy cattle farms. This instrument can be used to document and carry out the legally required self-monitoring of the dairy farms.

Das Ziel des Vorhabens ist die Bereitstellung eines praxistauglichen Instruments zur schnellen und regelmäßigen Analyse des Tierwohls auf schleswig-holsteinischen Milchviehbetrieben. Dieses Instrument kann zur Dokumentation und Durchführung der gesetzlich vorgeschriebenen Eigenkontrollen der Betriebe genutzt werden.
Activities
With the data from the LKV, the RSH eG and HIT, a large number of indicators is already available that allows an automatically generated, standardized and comparable presentation of the animal welfare situation. For the first time, they will be merged and evaluated in this project. The OG wants to develop, test and establish this innovative animal welfare control tool. This will allow farmers in the future a workable, objective assessment of animal welfare on their farms.

Mit den Daten des LKV, der RSH eG und HIT liegen bereits eine Vielzahl von Indikatoren vor, die eine automatisch generierte, standardisierte und vergleichbare Darstellung der Tierwohlsituation erlauben. Sie werden in diesem Projekt erstmalig zusammengeführt, verschnitten und ausgewertet. Die OG will dieses innovative Instrument zur Kontrolle des Tierwohls entwickeln, erproben und etablieren. Das ermöglicht Landwirten zukünftig eine praktikable, objektive Einschätzung des Tierwohls auf ihren Betrieben.
