Context

In recent years, there are many factors that negatively affect agriculture, both directly and indirectly, such as:
- Increasing the cost of the primary production of agricultural products;
- Increasing the use of various artificial fertilizers, reducing the quality of production and destroying soils.
The project is aimed at solving several main problems - reducing the use of chemical fertilizers, improving the quality of production, reducing the negative impact on the soil and increasing the yield, through the application of biostimulants, as a powerful biotechnological tool for increasing the growth and productivity of plants in minimization of chemical inputs and negative impacts on agro-ecosystems.
The project envisages, through the formed team of the operational group, to develop biostimulants to increase the yield in an environmentally friendly way and to conduct field tests on 3 types of crops - barley, wheat and hazelnut.
The project is based on own research and information from the world scientific literature that biostimulants, applied in the critical phases of vegetation, in an appropriate dose, stimulate the productivity of agricultural crops
An innovation of the proposal is the development of a technology for applying preparations with integrated stimulating and protective activity, developed on the basis of complex compositions of biostimulants of different origins: biologically active macromolecules, humic and microbial extracts, which is a prerequisite for creating ecologically effective fertilizers from biological material , exceeding existing alternatives on the market in a number of indicators by 5 to 25% for different cultures.
