Objectives
To produce bumblebee hives for the Swedish market, based on Swedish bumblebees and where the pollen used for feeding is Swedish too. The project will start and conduct an experimental cultivation to build up competence in how to affect the bumblebee's cycle, in order to be able to produce nests on demand. The next step is to create efficiency and get economy through the entire chain, from order to production and delivery.
Objectives
Activities
A marketing plan will be developed. Purchasing channels will be established. Swedish pollen is a major expense and requires a deeper analysis of how that issue is best resolved. At the start of the project, an Inc. will be formed (working name Swedish Bumblebees). This company is planned to take over the project results and to become a producer. The project group is well composed of complementary competencies.
Activities
