Context
El proyecto es necesario para aprovechar al máximo el potencial del cultivo del pistacho en Andalucía, mejorar la eficiencia del cultivo y brindar herramientas de apoyo a los agricultores que les permitan conocer las necesidades del cultivo, maximizar su rentabilidad y obtener un producto de máxima calidad. Además, la implementación de nuevas tecnologías y herramientas de análisis limpias puede ayudar a hacer del cultivo del pistacho una alternativa sostenible, rentable y con buenas perspectivas para la región.

Improve production efficiency, reduce environmental impact and increase profitability of pistachio crop through the implementation of a digital tool to support the farmer for the application of the DRIS methodology under a precision agriculture approach and a clean analysis methodology.

Activities
Activity 1 involves the creation of a web platform to store all the data of interest for pistachio production in Andalusia. In activity 2, in order to obtain a correct diagnosis of the state of the plantation, it is essential to obtain the most accurate image possible. En la actividad 1, se contempla la creación de una plataforma web que permita almacenar todos los datos de interés para la producción del pistacho en Andalucía. En la actividad 2, y para conseguir un diagnóstico correcto del estado de la plantación, es indispensable obtener una imagen lo más fiel posible. It is necessary to address this project because the cultivation of pistachio is becoming an increasingly attractive alternative for farmers, especially in depressed areas of Andalusia, such as the north of the provinces of Seville, Córdoba, Jaén, Granada and Almería. However, despite its potential, pistachio is still largely unknown in this region and studies are required to improve its management and crop efficiency, similar to those already carried out by the CSIC in Castilla La Mancha. The application of new technologies and clean analysis tools can allow us to understand the needs of the crop and correct nutritional deficiencies to guarantee maximum productivity.
In this sense, the creation of an application that provides crucial information for the management of plots and the exact dosage of fertilizer that each area requires will be a basic support tool for pistachio farmers. In addition, this application will include information on production by area, depending on the type of soil or the type of crop, which will allow us to know the profitability of the crops and their viability.
In summary, the project is necessary to make the most of the potential of pistachio cultivation in Andalusia, improve the efficiency of cultivation and provide support tools to farmers that allow them to know the needs of the crop, maximize their profitability and obtain a quality product. maximum quality. Es necesario abordar este proyecto porque el cultivo del pistacho se está convirtiendo en una alternativa cada vez más atractiva para los agricultores, especialmente en zonas deprimidas de Andalucía, como el norte de las provincias de Sevilla, Córdoba, Jaén, Granada y Almería. Sin embargo, a pesar de su potencial, el pistacho es todavía un gran desconocido en esta región y se requieren estudios para mejorar su manejo y la eficiencia del cultivo, similares a los ya realizados por el CSIC en Castilla La Mancha.
