Objectives
Reduction of mushroom sector waste and its subsequent valorization to improve the productivity of the agricultural sector. Creation of sustainable solutions for the reduction of plastic waste through the design of a specific compostable film for mushroom cultivation and the valorization of the post-cultivation substrate through the application of hydrothermal carbonization technologies and subsequent use as an agricultural fertilizer.

Reducción de los residuos del sector del champiñón y su posterior valorización para la mejora de la productivad del sector agrícola. Creación de soluciones sostenibles para la reducción de residuos plásticos mediante el diseño de una film compostable específico para el cultivo de hongos y la valorización del sustrato postcultivo mediante la aplicación de tecnologías de carbonización hidrotermal y posterior aprovechamiento como enmienda agrícola

Hidrotermal cabonization (HTC) for valorization of waste from mushroom cultivation.
Evaluation of the hidrochar obtained from the HTC process as casing material for mushroom cultivation and fertilizer in agriculture.
