Objectives

The project addresses the problem of transferring mitigation and adaptation to climate change from the strategic to the implementation level of agricultural holdings. Farm managers do not know enough about the measures, so the implementation is not optimal. The main goal of the project is to improve the capacity of agricultural holdings in the field of adaptation to climate change and, with the help of a digital application, developed on the basis of the ecosystem services concept, to encourage the transfer of these measures at the level of agricultural holdings and protected areas.

Objectives

Projekt naslavlja problem prenosa ukrepov blaženja in prilagajanje na podnebne spremembe iz strateškega na izvedbeni nivo kmetijskih gospodarstev. Upravljalci kmetijskih gospodarstev ukrepov ne poznajo dovolj, zato njihovo izvajanje ni optimalno. Glavni cilj projekta je izboljšati usposobljenost kmetijskih gospodarstev na področju prilagajanja podnebnim sprememba in s pomočjo digitalne aplikacije, ki bo razvita na podlagi koncepta ekosistemskih storitev, spodbuditi prenos teh ukrepov na ravni kmetijskih gospodarstev ter zavarovanih območij.

Activities

The application will be developed and tested, worked on the principle of community science and will help managing activities of mitigation and adaptation to climate change and in their implementation. The concept of ecosystem services will also be designed and tested in practice. Furthermore, various trainings will be carried out, a list of activities related to climate change and the resulting development potentials of farms will be prepared, the analysis of effectiveness of implemented measures will be made, a pilot area of good practices will be established and project promotion and dissemination of results will be carried out.

Activities

Razvita in pilotno izvedena bo aplikacija, delovala bo po principu skupnostne znanosti in bo v pomoč pri odločanju o aktivnostih za blaženje in prilagajanje na podnebne spremembe ter pri njihovi implementaciji. Oblikovan in v praksi preizkušen bo tudi koncept ekosistemskih storitev. Nadalje bodo izvedena različna usposabljanja, pripravljen nabor aktivnosti kmetij, vezan na tematiko podnebnih sprememb ter iz tega izhajajoči razvojni potenciali kmetij, analiza učinkovitosti izvedenih ukrepov, vzpostavljeno bo pilotno območje dobrih praks ter izvedena promocija projekta in razširjanje rezultatov.
