A big problem for the Swedish grain market is the lack of transparency .There is no open access to vital market information. Because of this players in the market find it difficult to make businesslike and well-grounded decisions before, during and after production. The digital platform that the project aims to develop will provide new opportunities for all players in the agricultural market to do smarter business.

Ett stort problem med Sveriges spannmålsmarknad är att den saknar transparens. Det finns inte öppen tillgång till avgörande marknadsinformation. Detta leder till att aktörer har svårt att fatta affärsmässiga och välgrundade beslut före, under och efter produktion. Den digitala plattform som projektet ämnar skapa kommer ge nya möjligheter för alla lantbrukets aktörer att göra smartare affärer.
Activities
Together with market analysts we will develop realistic models. The project partners will thereafter use quantitative methods and tools, like deep neural networks and bayesian modelling, to draw conclusions from large amounts of information. This will result in a perspicuous and manageable basis för decision making to be used by all players the agricultural market in all parts of agricultural production; before, during and after production.
Activities
I samarbete med marknadsanalytiker kommer vi att ta fram verklighetstrogna modeller. Projektparterna ska sedan använda kvantitativa metoder och verktyg, såsom djupa neurala nätverk och bayesiansk modellering, för att dra slutsatser från stora mängder information. Resultatet av detta blir överskådliga och hanterbara beslutsunderlag att nyttjas av alla lantbrukets aktörer i samband med alla steg i primärproduktionen; före, under och efter produktion.
